Glen Moscoe, Graduate Gemologist,
Jeweler and Experienced Appraiser
For more than 30 years, owner Glen Moscoe has been a trusted advisor to Rochester jewelry buyers and sellers, attorneys and bank trust officers. Formally trained as a jeweler at Gem City College and a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Glen has been active in all phases of the industry. A native of Los Angeles, Glen moved to Rochester to work for Mann's Jewelers in the 1970s. After 10 years as their diamond and colored gemstone buyer and senior gemologist, Glen struck out on his own. In 1991, after several years as an industry consultant, he opened Glen Moscoe Jewelers in the Tops Plaza in Brighton.

"I believe that jewelry can be enjoyed by everyone," explains Glen. "Our jewelry is accessible because we offer something for every budget. Everyone who comes to our store is treated with respect. We gladly share our three decades of experience to help you make the best decision regarding the purchase, redesign, remounting, repair or sale of your jewelry."

In addition to working in the retail side of the business, Glen frequently consults with estate and divorce attorneys, trust officers and private collectors. His knowledge of the value and origin of antique and vintage jewelry is of incredible value to individuals looking to buy, sell or distribute their estates equitably.

Christopher Little, Jeweler
Apprenticed under John Minor and John Keim of Richards and West, Christopher Little possesses a natural design sense, a talent for crafting custom-designed jewelry and an ability to handle the most complicated repairs. He has worked at Glen Moscoe Jewelers for nearly 11 years, most often in the back room at his jewelry bench. But, unlike most jewelry stores that keep their bench jewelers behind closed doors, Chris can be found front and center working directly with our customers.

Marty McVay, Retail Sales Manager
Marty has been buying jewelry for decades. She has a strong customer service background and a keen understanding of how to treat customers. After 30 years in the business world, Marty decided to follow her passion. Her love of jewelry and her knowledge of gemstones led her to seek employment in the jewelry industry. She has been working at Glen Moscoe Jewelers for more than seven years. Marty has a wonderful eye for color and is an incredible resource for our customers. She also helps with jewelry buying and regularly attends industry trade shows.

Karen Moscoe
A native of Rochester, Karen
Winterman Moscoe is also actively involved in the business alongside
her husband. After being a
stay-at-home Mom for their
three children, Karen joined the
family business, handling the
back office accounting needs
as well as jewelry sales and service.
She has an incredible sense of
style and is often involved in
buying jewelry.

Zoey, Customer Greeter
A five-year-old shih tzu-poodle mix, Zoey is frequently stationed at our store window. She received extensive training as a greeter from the local Wal-Mart store before joining Glen Moscoe Jewelers. Zoey has become like a member of our family and is a loyal friend to many customers and passersby.
